This complex coffee from El-Salvador has a powerful and spicy aroma, with a dark chocolate and marzipan sweetness, also likened to apricot.
These beans were awarded 3rd place at the El Salvador Cup of Excellence awards (C.O.E) in 2010. Grown by Jaime Ernesto Riera Menendez, on his small farm on the foothills of the Santa Ana volcano, the plantation benefits from nutritious volcanic soil at a very high altitude, resulting in slow-ripening, high-quality fruit.
